Size: Argentine black & white Tegu’s can reach up to 3 feet in length making them the largest species of Tegu known to mankind!

Where will you find me? : You can find me in tropical rainforests and semi desert areas within East and Central America.

Interesting fact: Black & white Tegu’s are 1 of very few lizards that are considered partially warm blooded meaning during their reproductive season they can regulated there temperature to rise somewhat higher.

How long do I live for? : Tegu’s can live upwards of 25 years in captivity with a somewhat shorted lifespan in the wild of an average 15-20 years.

How many will I be around?: Generally black and white Tegu’s are solitary with an exception of doing well on occasion in different sex groups and during breeding season.
